he Novation Launchkey 25 Keyboard Controller is designed to serve as complete keyboard and control surface with additional software to create a powerful instrument.
Novation's Launchkey 25 keyboard controller has been built to offer a comprehensive DAW controller and keyboard in one. With a massive 37 hardware controls including transport buttons, pitch and mod wheels, rotary encoders and faders, you can create and control quickly. So whether it's controlling the filter cut-off on your favourite synth or eq'ing vocals at mixdown you can do so without fuss. A further addition is the bank of 16 multi-coloured pads, which act as velocity sensitive drum inputs or launch pads for clips in Ableton Live.
A comprehensive software package with the Novation Launchkey 25 keyboard controller transforms the hardware into a potent instrument. Deep grumbling basses can be created with the Bass Station software and the analogue modelling V-station synth can create anything from warm pads to striking synth lines. Also included are the Launchkey and Launchpad apps for the iPad platform (additional camera connection kit is required). The Launchkey is an imaginative synth app that uses the iPads touchscreen to create and inspire new possibilities. While the Launchpad app uses the bank of control pads to trigger loops and effects for stunning outcomes.
Further to this a copy of Ableton Live Lite is included to write and produce songs, fully utilising the built in launch pads. Finally the brand new inControl software from Novation also allows immediate mapping over your choice of DAW and VST's, ensuring time is not spent wasted and creativity and workflow are kept to the fore.
