This week saw the deadliest violence between the Palestinian Fatah and Hamas factions in two years. The violence comes as U.S. President Barack Obama presses Israel to endorse the idea of a Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. As VOA's Luis Ramirez reports from the West Bank town of Qalqilya, the standoff among Palestinian factions threatens the eventual statehood that Mr. Obama is calling for.
