Hello all! It's been a little crazy as far as schedules go, so I'm super eager to be finally sharing this project with you.
A little over a year ago I mixed a nicer recording of this song for a short film called "A Memory Jar." I realized that the only people who'd really heard this version of "Million Stars" was the creative team for that film and I decided I wanted to share it more publicly, but in a meaningful way.
So about a month ago, I scavenged the house for old family pictures (some all the way back from the 50s!) and went out to the field by my neighborhood with a video camera while my mom was out of town. In honor of her birthday, I've been working on this music video to remind her of all the stars we've named and how thankful I am for the memories we've made and captured.
I'm thrilled to be able to use this platform to share this personal moment with my mom and with you. I hope you enjoy it!
