Tay Zonday made comments about Nichelle Nichols several months ago which I just saw recently, and it caused me to do a doubletake and so I responded. Ms. Nichols is a childhood hero of mine, and to expect every action of her public career to be made with the Civil Rights Movement in mind is to my mind shortchanging her. She is a talented actress and phenomenal singer, who brings far more to the sum of humanity than she does to any one part of it. To learn more about the 1986 film, The Supernaturals, start with this link. http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0092030/ Though her rank is sergeant, the rest of the platoon turned to her for guidance. Nice film for B movie buffs. I enjoyed it. I don't think Ms. Nichols sings in it tho.
