As other Kenyans happily walked away from bank ATMs at the end of February and the beginning of March, some, notably those in law enforcement, were not a happy lot. This is after the government ignored a court order and went ahead to slash salaries of previously promoted officers to conform with those in lower ranks. Africa Uncensored managed to speak to some of the affected officers in confidence early in the month and this is one of those accounts.
