The Year of the Kraken Standard format and Whispers of the Old Gods expansion are here! In the middle of season 26, I started to work on Midrange Hunter - an old favorite of mine - once again. Now I feel like I'm getting closer to a Hunter deck that fits the current meta, thanks to the inclusion of Harrison Jones and The Black Knight.

This video shows gameplay against Beast Druid. There are three games in it. After losing the combo, Druid has been searching for itself, and while some form of Ramp Druid has survived alongside C'Thun Druid, which is mostly a flavor of it, many Druid players have turned to a more aggressive variant in Beast Druid. Not as all-in as the Aggro Druid used to be, Beast Druid is a fast, minion-based deck in many ways reminiscent of Zoo. Midrange Hunter is a good deck to contest it.
