Gameweek 12 Fix Player Picks

JOE ALLEN:

- The Wales international has thrived since being deployed in the no. 10 position, returning 4 goals and 2 assists in his last 6 games.

- 11 of his 12 shots during the last 6 Gameweeks have been from inside the area and his 8 shots on target matches Chelsea’s in form striker, Diego Costa.

- Stoke will host Bournemouth in Gameweek 12, a side that have won just once during their last 5 Premier League matches, losing the last 2, against Sunderland and Middlesbrough. They’ve conceded a total of 16 goals this season, with 10 coming away from home.

BEN FOSTER:

- The West Brom goalkeeper has made a total of 37 saves this season - only Jordan Pickford (42) and Tom Heaton (61) have made more so far.

- Despite having kept just 2 clean sheets this season, West Brom under Tony Pulis have a very good defensive record. They’ve kept 23 clean sheets in the Premier League, since Pulis took charge in January 2015.

- With fixtures against Burnley, Hull, Watford and Swansea to come, it’s no surprise that West Brom are projected to keep a good amount of clean sheets over the next 5 Gameweeks by our algorithm - only Arsenal, Southampton, Chelsea and Spurs are projected to keep more.

- In Gameweek 12, West Brom host a Burnley side that have scored just 1 goal away from home all season – no team have scored fewer.

DANNY ROSE

- Despite missing a number of games through injury, the England left-back has managed to keep a clean sheet in 3 of the 7 Premier League games he’s played so far.

- Rose has shown great promise going forwards too, returning 1 goal and 1 assist so far.

- In the last 4 Gameweeks, he’s taken 8 goal attempts in total and his 3 shots on target is more than any other defender. He’s also attempted 6 assists in that period – only Charlie Daniel’s has attempted more (8).

- Spurs host West Ham in Gameweek 12, a side that sit in 17th in the league table, after a poor start to the season. They’ve scored just 4 goals during the last 6 Gameweeks, on par with Hull and no team have scored fewer.

ROMELU LUKAKU:

- The Belgian striker has been involved in 4 goals during the last 4 Gameweeks, scoring twice and providing 2 assists.

- He’s managed a total of 7 goals and 3 assists in 10 Premier League appearances this season and his 17 shots on target can be beaten only by Costa (19), Aguero (19) and Ibrahimovic (22).

- Lukaku was kept quiet by Chelsea last Gameweek, when Everton were beaten 5-0. They’ll be looking to bounce back in Gameweek 12, when they host a struggling Swansea side.

- Swansea sit 19th in the league table and have failed to win any of their last 5 games, losing 4. They’ve conceded 14 goals during that period and only Hull have conceded more (17).

HARRY KANE:

- After missing 5 Premier League games with an ankle injury, the Spurs striker returned for the north London derby against Arsenal, and marked the occasion with his 3rd league goal of the season, calmly converting his penalty.

- Kane has made 6 appearances in total this season, scoring 3 goals and providing 1 assist. He’s taken a total of 15 shots, with 6 hitting the target and has attempted 8 assists.

- Spurs have a kind run of fixtures to come, with home games against West Ham, Swansea, Hull and Burnley in the next 6 Gameweeks.

- It’s West Ham at home for them in Gameweek 12. The Hammers have conceded 11 goals away from home so far this season; only Hull and Leicester have a worse record.
