I wanted to see what else Viktor Kovacs' Lightsaber Maker could do, so one brisk November day in 2007 I grabbed some of my phasers, set the camera up in the back yard, and stammered out some words. It took less than two hours from setting up to final product, so please don't rag on me because some of the beams don't quite originate from where the should or go quite in the proper direction!

I used my picture camera's video option, so it was filmed at 640x480 at 15 FPS. I used Lightsaber Maker to "draw" the phaser beams, and Sonar to re-integrate the original sound and to add sound effects. (I think I used a Star Trek soundfont for most of the phaser sounds. For the 2 movie-era pahsers, I quickly made my own sound effects.)

One of my sons accused me of shooting at the neighborhood kids while they were playing with my last shot!
