Phung Huynh, a Los Angeles-based artist, discusses her work focusing on the investigation of notions of cultural perception and authenticity through the eyes of her own Asian American identity. 

This year, the City of Los Angeles and Kore Asian Media celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month by recognizing API women who have used their perspectives and voices to advocate for progress in their communities.
