Kramer Woodard has been practicing architecture in Albuquerque since 1998, and he believes that we can make cities more efficient, more livable, and more friendly by re-thinking the way we use our spaces. He holds a master's degree in architecture from Columbia University, and his award-winning work has been widely published in the United States and abroad. Woodard has held teaching positions at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Columbia university, Rice University, the University of Texas at Austin, and the Pratt Institute. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
