“Extra’s” Mario Lopez sat down with Kyle Harvey at Universal Studios Hollywood, where he promoted his Netflix project “The After Party.”
 
In the movie, Harvey plays an aspiring rapper who has to take risks to score a record deal... before he's forced to join the Marines. 

When asked about his biggest risk in real life, Kyle said, “I moved to L.A. to become a rapper, I quit my job, I dropped out of college and lived in a very bummy apartment on Skid Row. Somehow, after a couple of years, I got things moving.”
 
“The After Party” is available Friday on Netflix.
