(18 Nov 2018) Residents who fled the deadliest U.S. wildfire in a century expressed hope and skepticism over President Trump's visit to what remained of their Northern California community. Outside a Red Cross shelter in Chico, a handful of evacuees clustered around a TV to watch news of Trump's visit Saturday. Some said they hoped the president would bring more attention and resources to the disaster, while others doubted his intentions and said they were angry about Trump's tweet last week blaming forest mismanagement for the Nov. 8 fire. The president's tour came as firefighters raced to get ahead of strong winds expected overnight and authorities struggled to locate 1,011 people who were unaccounted for.
