South African law enforcement agencies have meanwhile intensified their search for Ajay Gupta, who has been declared a fugitive of the law after he failed to give himself up . Last month, the Hawks announced that a warrant of arrest had been issued for Ajay Gupta - for matters not related to the fraud scandal at the Estina dairy farm in Vrede in the Free State. At the same time property belonging to the Gupta brothers, including their ancestral home, which the SABC's team visited last week, have been raided and searched by the Income Tax department of the Indian government.
