The Malaysian Property Market is expected to be flat in 2018 with low single digit growth for house prices. The Managing Director Of CBRE WTW, Foo Gee Jen however said, despite that, there will be no property bubble this year, based on steady take-up rates, which hovers around 65 to 70 Percent for landed residential segment. He was speaking after the 2018 Asia Pacific Real Estate Market outlook: Malaysia briefing, earlier today. He added, in recent years, the government and authorities have introduced numerous measures that would impact the property market. These measures includes real property gains tax and foreign ownership restrictions. (Soundbite Of Foo Gee Jen / MD, CBRE WTW.)
