Cheese boards are always a good idea, for any special occasion. The variety inherent in them means that there's something for everyone! From the cheeses, to the perfect wine pairing, to other bites and its beautiful presentation -- cheese boards are a good call for your Valentine's Day! In partnership with the Comté Cheese Association, I show you how I put together my Valentine's Day cheese board. The cheeses I chose for my board are: Semi-firm cheese: Comté (an amazing French Soft cow's milk cheese: Brie-style Baron Bigod Hard cheese: Cheddar (I chose Hafod, from Wales) Goat cheese: I chose a type called Innes Brick, from England Blue Cheese: I prefer Stilton or Stitchelton The wines that pair Lukasz chose, which pair excellently with the Comté : -Savagnin (a white wine from the Jura region of France). This is the traditional pairing...you can't go wrong with this option. -Riesling -Cabernet Sauvignon (this is the pairing I chose to have with Connor for our Valentine's Day celebration) Thanks to Comté Cheese Association, and special thanks to Lukasz at Cult Wines for offering his wine expertise for this video! #sponsored Never miss a QKatie episode!
