The first duel features a full contact duel between both Saber Coaches as a preview for the saber combatants. As part of the progression chain, the full contact duel puts together all the training principles practiced in the Combat Saber System. The combatants have to be in regular training for a minimum of 6 months regularly to be able to do the full contact dueling. For the rest of the video, the goal of the 30 second drills are to get the strikes as close the the hands of your opponent as possible. These are not choreographed.
