The proper maintenance of tyre and tyre pressure is very important.
This video you can see how miserably this tyre has been maintained. If a tyre blasts it could take create fatal injuries. 
High pressure of the tyre is getting released and this is fatal.
If the recommended pressure is not been added on to a tyre it will fail to provide the optimum efficiency of the vehicle. It will reduce the mileage (more fuel consumption).
So proper maintenance and  replacement of tyre is very important.
