The Employees Provident Fund (EPF), expects its assets under management to reach the RM1 trillion mark, within two to five years. Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Strategy), Tunku Alizakri Alias said this was based on market performance and contribution growth during the period as well as the introduction of new schemes for its existing contributors. As at March 31st, 2018, EPF’s total asset under management (AUM) stood at RM814.38 billion. Alizakri who will be heading the EPF starting August 20th was speaking to the media on the sidelines of the International Social Security Conference 2018. Going forward, the EPF would be more proactive in its operations with the introduction of digitalisation which is part of a five-year plan to attact younger contributors.
