http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com Tiny Muhu Island was the home of Juhan Smuul, a famous Estonian writer who was born in 1922. His boyhood home has been turned into the Koguva Open Air Museum, a preserved living village. The oldest buildings date from the 18th century and it was fascinating to walk around the beautiful property and learn how these traditional farmers lived. Ceilings were low to keep in the heat. Salt was smuggled in from Sweden to salt the fish. And, the entire family slept in one room. Just a few of the many interesting tidbits... Please don't forget to Subscribe Share and Like. Thanks.
