Typhoon Bolaven made landfall on Okinawa Island, though no fatalities have been reported from the storm which has now weakened to Category 3 strength. So far, there are no reports of major damage from the storm, however, it is still expected to be a typhoon when it arrives on the Korean Peninsula. The storm is expected to weaken to a Category 1 storm before making landfall, probably in North Korea. Stay tuned for updates, particularly concerning Korea and China.
