Remaining Tawny Owlets are thriving

The female Tawny Owl is doing a good job of going it alone and the two remaining owlets are growing fast. At night the female is spending a lot of time out of the box, catching enough prey to feed her demanding brood is a full-time job. During the hot weather she has also been sitting out of the box at midday, allowing the box to cool down.
