LEBRON JAMES Suffers Groin Injury In Christmas Game - To Undergo MRI 0Midway through the third quarter of the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors Christmas game, LeBron James was forced to leave the court after suffering a groin injury. Tuesday night’s (Dec. 25) play showed James grimacing in pain as he fell to the floor at Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif., while struggling to regain control of the ball while driving toward the basket. In a close up video, James appears to mouth the words, “I felt a pop.” After the game, James had some strength to speak with reporters. Despite his injury, the Lakers ended up taking home the win: 127-101, with James contributing 17 points.
