Here is a little video of me playing to show you (and myself) where I'm at right now with my lead playing.

Struggling for inspiration for my own practice and taking inspiration from my students studying the Rockschool exams (pieces played along to backing tracks), I decided to dive back into a pack of guitar solos form jamtrackcentral.com that I bought a couple of years ago.

This track seemed the easiest of the lot so I wanted to learn it and upload a video as a way to monitor my own practice and progress as I start trying to commit to a more regular practice routine.

A couple of slips here and there and my string bending still needs some work, but I was pretty happy with this.
 
I also filmed it as a way to start working with Final Cut Pro 10.2.3.  I downloaded a trial version tonight and enjoyed seeing what enhanced features it offers.

Filmed with my Canon EOS 700D.  Recorded with a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 into Logic Pro X.  Guitar sound from Guitar Rig 5.
