Things got intense at an international football match as ground staff used buckets and their hands to get the water off the flooded pitch.

An African Cup of Nations qualifying match between the Democratic Republic of Congo and Congo was interrupted at half time as the pitch had become soaked from heavy rains.

Desperate staff were so eager to keep the match going they started clearing the pitch using anything they had at hand.

Incredibly, after an hour of hard labour from the staff, the players were able to get back on the field and finish the game which ended in a 1-1 draw.
