I'm going to try to play all the wads at DooM Speed Demos Archive and do a speedrun on each one. This assumes a couple things:

1) The wad is designed for single player (they have an exit)
2) that they are not too frustrating or difficult to speedrun (in at least some category, No Monsters if necessary).
3) That I desire to play and beat the level. In some cases I might not want to solve an obscenely complex puzzle.
4) That the level is small enough. In some cases the wad may be too long to beat for me to do this.
5) I am not a UV-Max player, so unless the wad is super easy, I'm sticking to the Any% "speed" category... possibly on an easier difficulty.
6) I am not aiming to set a record on each one, because lets face it some popular wads are played enough that I don't really stand a chance. Just a speedrun, a PB, and if I'm lucky an uncontested world record.

In doing so I'll post a short review on each wad and a link to the website where you can download it. So without further ado..

Difficulty (1 to 10): 8

Review:
This wad was one of the first wads I ever played. I can't ever remember beating it without god mode and all weapons, but I do remember playing it. This level has a classic Doom 2 meanness to it, there's always enemies stacked in inconvenient places, so you pretty much have to have this map memorized before you can beat it. The ammo and health is carefully balanced (maybe a little *too* carefully balanced), meaning you run out of it if you don't ration it. This is why I don't have a UV-Speed demo of it yet (still trying to beat it on UV first). It's still quite challenging on ITYTD, and you are likely to die a few times even as an experienced player, so it's a little on the frustrating side. Overall much better map than I remembered, but too frustrating for my taste. Good use of textures and has a nice architecture design.

Run notes:
I abuse one glitch in the game engine, and that is to press a switch in that cage near the start of the level without riding the platform to the top. I still haven't found the secret yellow key to get the plasma rifle. Watch that crusher door, especially on UV! This is a fun level and I might actually play it more in the future going for UV-Speed.
