Doug Hunt, technology education teacher at Southern Wells HS in Indiana and pretty darn good blues guitarist, demonstrates an electric cigar box guitar. It was made by Chris McGaugh, a teacher of physics and anatomy/physiology at Scripps Ranch High School in San Diego.

This is a great example of how a very inexpensive instrument can be used to demonstrate science, math and engineering. I am helping run workshops around the US that show teachers and students how to technical subjects come together in designing and making guitars.
