White River Wilderness Area, Colorado. I stopped on the side of the road because I had to.

Horses and I have always found each other. No matter where I am or how wild they are. After years of working with animal medicine, I know that pull isn't random.

In shamanic tradition, our power animals don't exist only in non-ordinary reality. They show up here, in the body of an actual animal, along a road you didn't plan to stop on. The real world and the spirit world are never as separate as we think.

This Shaman Short is about recognizing your animal guides when they arrive in ordinary life.
