This is a Star Trek The Next Generation/DS9/Voyager Mark X Science Tricorder. This was built by me. The entire Tricorder is painted using automotive paint and sealed with an automotive clear coat. It features a body by Stapleton Productions and electronics by a local electronics house. The Tricorder body is completely resin. It features over 70 LEDs, opening "ratchet" sound, authentic scanning sounds and a closing "ratchet" sound, which is not found in all hero built Tricorders. Furthermore, all sounds were created by myself to better emulate the screen used props. The opening ratchet sound is slightly different from the closing sound, as it should be. The scanning sounds change (speed up) after a few seconds, rather than just play the same sound over and over.
