My buddy Stephen and I hit a private lake yesterday with the craziest launch of all time. We had to pushpole our way out to the lake through a bunch of grass and shallow water, but once we got out of the little creek it was game time! The fish were biting early and we caught a few. The lake is usually gin clear, and today it had a bit of a stain to it. We are guessing the lake flipped (or turned over) which is when the lower layer of the lake switches with the top layer of the lake in a short period of time and the fish get a bit of lock jaw. After a couple days they will get comfortable and start biting again. Again, this was just a guess we had as to why we only had a few bites out there, it could just be an excuse for not finding them....but we tried! Thanks for getting me out there, Stephen. It was a great time! Can't wait til next week. Hope you enjoyed, see you soon! SB
