Rep. Duncan Hunter is running for re-election in the 50th Congressional District, which comprises much of San Diego’s East County from Fallbrook and Escondido to Lakeside and Jamul. It also stretches into Temecula in Riverside County. Republican Congressman Duncan Hunter was an artillery officer in the Marine Corps and has represented the 50th District since 2009. KPBS' Jade Hindmon spoke to Hunter on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at the VFW in Alpine to discuss why he is running for re-election.
