The Democratic Alliance in the Northern Cape is picketing outside the Kimberley High Court ahead of the start of the trial of six men who allegedly murdered a DA councillor elect. Johannes Baadjie was gunned down near Postmasburg in the province days after winning his ward in the 2016 municipal elections. He was due to serve in the Kgatelopele Municipal council.
