The Beatles covered a lot of their favorites on the BBC, including the Everly Brothers. Imagine if they recorded this one. Well, I did - and this is what I came up with.

This is unlike my other videos in that I chose to do no edits or overdubs. I wanted this to sound like a quick BBC attempt - I imagined the vocal would be John with Paul jumping in during the choruses for the high harmonies. This was rough, but I wanted to do everything in one take and decided to leave it, warts and all. The only thing not shown is the harmony during choruses and the double of the handclaps (come on, J&P would've done that together too)!

I love the Beatles, and I love what THEY loved as well. I think the Merseybeat adaptation of rock and roll is perfect, and I enjoy doing songs in this style (even if they haven't been done before, like this one).

PS - If anyone knows Paul, put in a good word for me ;)
