Parliamentary workers are embarking on a second day of industrial action. Staff affiliated to the National Health and Allied Workers Union downed tools yesterday. They demand that no money should be deducted from their salaries this month. The deductions relate to last year's strike. They also want six suspended staff members to be reinstated and charges of misconduct against them withdrawn. Besides limited interpretation services during the House sitting yesterday, the impact on the operations of Parliament has been minimal so far. For more news, visit: http://www.sabc.co.za/news
