Brown and Hurley are the Kenworth and DAF truck dealers for Queensland and Northern New South Wales and have been in business since 1946. The company was started by two friends, Alan Brown and Jack Hurley when they were discharged from the army after WWII. The company specialises in heavy duty trucks and is the largest Kenworth and DAF truck dealer in Australia and ranks in the top group of PACCAR Dealers worldwide. The company has a long history of training apprentices and many of our former apprentices have progressed through the company and now hold management positions in Brown and Hurley, the transport industry and government. We have an active recruitment and training program for apprentices, beginning with applications midyear for an early January start the following year. The first week is spent at our state of the art Yatala dealership for our apprentice induction course.
