This video discusses an approach of providing multiple methods to meet a specification. By giving multiple equivalent designs then it gives the contractor choices in how they produce a structure. This is best used as an alternative to reducing pay or requiring a removal and replacement if the concrete produced does not meet the specification. Specific examples are given from the Canadian Parking Garage standard. The equivalence of these methods were determined by Life 365. Thanks to Hailey Goodale!
