The "Warcliff Coil" Rocket Launcher in Destiny 2 is an exotic that you pick up randomly through chest, activity or reputation drops. 

Unlike any other exotic rocket launcher, the Warcliff Coil fires multiple small projectiles in one direction and seeks enemies in the general direction. 

The Warcliff Coil is best used mid-range with multiple enemies in mind.
