Weather was turning bad and I wanted video of something different so after Denny's I tossed it up. The wind was quite a lot for it first flight got yanked downwind faster than the motor could compensate and smack into the hotel drive thru cover thing. Busted the elevator off so I taped it back on. Must have trimmed a wee too much "up" combined with the gusting winds and snow made it quite the hand full. On this flight the camera is looking straight down from under the wing. Would have been a lot nicer if the thing was not dancing all over the stinking sky. I was more concerned with keeping off the roof and off the highway :-) hehe I really think I need an upgrade. I was watching some videos on a Phantom Firefly for $55 complete. full 3 channel and PROPORTIONAL control and about the same layout as the Cosmic Flyer bu with a V Tail. I just might see if anyone local has one. I really need that elevator to fly in these gusty conditions so I can keep the danged nose down :-) Still a decent video though fun to watch. At the end the camera comes off the airplane. I had to turn as hard as I could to avoid landing on the roof. I could not "bleed off" this turn fast enough and smacked the side of the building knocking the camera loose. LISTEN after you see "sky" steady on the camera at the end and you will hear the second smack ie the airplane landing :-) No damage once again. This is one tough little plane.
