I am back this week to present a SXSW edition of my Red-Headed Geek Show! I hope you enjoy! Topics presented at this  year's festival include a neat 3D gesture device, 3D printing guns, Google Shoes and connected cars!
 Leap Motion, a tiny 3D gesture device stole the show this year! It sits in front of your computer and can track gestures with in an 8 cubic foot area! From zooming in or out on your computer screen, to playing fruit ninja with remarkable sensitivity, this device will be available at Best Buy May 19th!
 Google was at SXSW this year! They unveiled a cool new technology, Google Shoes! They won't be adding these onto their production list, but they will soon be open sourcing the technology so people can make them on their own! What do they do? They talk to you! They provide verbal feedback based on your movements! 
 Techies and innovators were everywhere this year. In regards to 3D printing, a panel of several experts presented a full discussion on the future of the technology.  From the discussion of intellectual property, fully functional firearms to immense opportunities, the panel suggested that 3D printing is going to take us to many great places. 
 Finally, as a co-sponsor this year, GM presented their new beefed-up tech assistance team! They , in addition to other car companies, are doing this in efforts to help the millions who are purchasing the newest and most connected vehicles. It can be difficult to use all the gadgets and buttons in your new car, especially if you're not sure what they do. With more savvy staff on board, this can alleviate many concerns. That's it folks!
