In this video taken at a Functional Range Release® certification seminar in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Dr. Spina discusses how to palpate deeper soft tissue structures. As is mentioned, "Having a preconceived idea of what something 'should' feel like is the greatest barrier to actually palpating it," meaning that when a practitioner studies anatomical text and visualize say a muscle, the actual sensation of palpating live tissue will often differ from what is expected. The reason for this is outlined in the video. Interested in becoming a certified Functional Range Release (FR)® practitioner?
