Hurricane Rafael is now extratropical, but is still packing hurricane-force winds as it treks across the Atlantic. The storm is expected to slowly and gradually weaken, and execute a loop in the North Atlantic. After looping, it will turn south and perhaps threaten the Azores Islands. Newfoundland shouldn't see many effects from the storm. Rafael isn't expected to regenerate...I'm sure Nadine was enough for one year
