On a beautiful evening, I went out to film the Cathedrals Express on the Heart of Wales line at it reached the final stages of it's run from Carnforth to Carmarthen. We first see it speeding along some beautiful Carmarthenshire countryside just North of Llandeilo, followed by my regular location of Derwydd Road, with the light failing fast, and finally in near darkness at 21.30 we see it speeding along the SWML at Pwll with just 15 miles to go to it's destination
