Hollywood actress Susan Sarandon flew out of Australia first thing Monday on a Qantas jumbo bound for Los Angeles.

Sarandon was escorted through customs at Melbourne airport by a first class employee of the national carrier and her big, burly security detail who is bound for Afghaistan.

But not before researching the local market for a "SPIN" location. The table tennis, bar, music franchise Sarandon and ex hubby Tim Robbins created in New York, which now has 'spinoffs' scattered round the world.

Fans of "SPIN" include Justin Beiber who loves table tennis and hired out one of the venue's for an entire night at a cost of $20,000.

So, will we the 'Thelma & Louise" star back in Australia soon....?

Maybe, just maybe ....
