It was a few videos back where I received my new Daniel Defense barrel. In that video I talked about taking off the A2 front sight/gas block off and sending it to Spiro to get it done. Now if you guys don't know Spiro, he's a member of OpCom and also the owner of Minuteman Munitions. Well I finally got the gas block back from Spiro all cut and trimmed down to size. Like I mentioned in the video this is the most secure option for a low profile gas block. Most other LPGB's use set screws that can possibly work their way loose after shooting large amounts of ammo. Now I've never had that problem with my YHM LPGB, on my Bushmaster, but the potential is always there. Going this route allows you to install the gas block using the factory pins and holes in the barrel. All and all I'm really happy with the way this turned out, I can't thank Spiro enough.
