Kawaii-Kon 2007 Slideshow

Back in April, I went with a couple friends of mine to Oahu and attended the Kawai-Kon, Hawaii's only annual anime convention. This is a slideshow I put together with a few of my video still shots, as well as pictures I ripped off some of my friends' Myspace pages. ;) I've got pictures of an awesome rave/dance from the first night. Buma's Buti-shake! The DJ was awesome, and he edited a great mix of AMV style clips to project on the screen. (YES, btw, that IS the NUMA NUMA KID!) Vic Mignogna, voice of Edward Elric in Full Metal Alchemist, had his first LIVE CONCERT and it was awesome. Also, Travis Willingham (voice of Roy Mustang, like, Ed's counter-objective/rival) hosted an UNPLUGGED pannel, 18 and over only. Which means he talked about anything and everything, swore and insulted the audience and all kinds of funny stuff. It was hillarious. Then there's pictures all throughout of friends/anime fans just hanging out having fun, but for the most part, my friends Scot and Michael steal the show. There's lots of pics of them. I tried to place the pictures in order in which they happened, but some parts just matched the music so well, I rearranged. Near the end, during the 3rd song, I used that space for pictures of complete strangers and folks I don't recognize in their cosplays. (Costumes of anime characters, for those of you who don't know the term.) MUSIC(all japanese): "Ready Steady GO!!!"
