This invasion was actually MUCH longer as the host had summoned these 2 same phantoms an additional 2 times prior to the start of this video. I just had Shadowplay set to only record 10 minutes, so it didn't catch the earlier summons due to how long this invasion lasted. This is becoming like 70-80% of my typical invasions now. I personally think this is a major issue that needs to be addressed due to how increasingly common people are abusing this. There are 2 things that I think need to be immediately fixed in order to make invasions a more balanced experience. 1) Do not let hosts hide behind a fogwall. It blows my mind that this is even possible. If the host does not wish to fight an invader, then escaping past a fogwall should immediately send the invader(s) back home. There should be no reason that an invader can still stay in someone's world while the host is already in a safe zone. What makes matters worse is that since the fogwall appears on the invader's side, he/ she cannot attack or shoot through the wall (arrows, spells, etc.). But on the host's side, the fogwall isn't there yet, so he/ she is still able to shoot at the invader(s) perfectly fine. You have no idea how many people like to abuse this. 2) Hosts should not be able to summon the same phantom more than once if an invader is already present in their world. It takes a lot of hard work just for a single invader to come out triumphant against a 3 or 4-man gank, but all of that hard work and success is immediately wiped away when the host can just summon them right back again. It creates an incredibly unfair and one-sided playing field that the invader has no hopes of winning. No matter how skilled they are, they will eventually lose. If the invader managed to defeat all of the host's phantoms, he/ she deserves that 1-on-1 fight against the host. One could argue that an invader can just choose to leave the host's world himself/ herself if the host is going to do something like this. But with that kind of logic, why even invade in the first place? There might as well not even be an invasion mechanic at that point.
