As many of you know, I'm not a big fan of leaving generic, "Nice job!" type comments. We invest a great deal of time in our craft, so I respect my friends' efforts by sharing my honest reaction, even if that means offering a "Did you consider this?" suggestion. As you might imagine, this can get me in trouble as not everyone is as open to or interested in critical feedback (not that I expect everyone to take my opinion as gold, of course, and I am far more effusive praise than anything else) Sometimes, though, it can lead to a magical piece like this. A few weeks ago, I came across Nate's terrific acoustic demo for this song. He really liked my ideas, so it didn't take long for us to start hashing out a collab. The tune is entirely Nate's, and he plays the acoustic and bass. I composed the electric guitar and piano parts, as well as a brief synth track. I also had the pleasure of mixing everything. This song just about tears my heart out, and I hope it strikes something in you as well. Please stop over to Nate's channel, he has lots of great stuff. http://www.youtube.com/user/natelogston Nate also has a Musicians Together channel that doesn't have all the football vids, which makes it easier to scan for his music. http://musicianstogether.com/user/natelogston As always, it is worth taking the time to put headphones on. Thanks for listening, we really appreciate it. Justin
