Mic Newman has made quite a name for himself over the last couple of years and rightly so. Alongside Lewie Day aka Tornado Wallace, they have managed to put
Melbourne on the map as a hotbed of underground house music talent and his releases on labels such as Murmur, Fina, Tsuba and 8bit are testament to this. His Sizzled Sally EP for Murmur is their biggest seller to date.

Mic has also made several high profile remixes for the likes of Booka Shade on Get Physical and Chicken Lips on Azuli.

Mic's Filthy Forever track from the Freerange Colour Series Comp garnered much praise and support from
the likes of Steve Bug, Brothers Vibe, Agnes and Catz n Dogs

Mic was rated number 5 in the Juno Records 'Ones To Watch' 2011alongside Jamie XX and Julio Bashmore.
