After my trip to Portland to chase Sturgeon from the Kayak I stopped on my way home to hit up Lake Shasta from the Bank.  I kept things simple taking a finesse rod with an Owner Ultrahead Finesse Ball Head jig (https://amzn.to/2JsSMk7) and some Zman TRD's. For me this is my goto when fishing a NED Rig Style Bait.  I had this on a medium spinning rod, full set-up below.

Fishing from the Bank at Lake Shasta was a nice break from the kayak and I only had about an hour and half, but if I had a full 8 hour day I probably could have had a 100 fish day.  The fish were on the small side but boy were they active and they really liked the NED Rig being slowly drug across the bottom.
