http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com There was no organized tour around Turaida Castle (thank heavens). Just time to walk around on our own and try to see some of the different attractions on the grounds. The dog keeper's shed, smithy, servants house, fish basement, steward's house, kiln, church, apple storehouse, gardener's house and sculpture park, granary... Absolutely not enough time to see one-quarter of these. Turaida Castle had another major highlight in the tower...a high-class jewelry shop that sold reproductions of medieval jewelry. Of course I bought! Need you ask? Please don't forget to Subscribe Share and Like. Thanks.
