FLORIDA PANHANDLE, Fla. (WKRC) - Hurricane Michael is a monster category 4 storm in the Gulf of Mexico. It's creeping closer to the Florida Panhandle. Former Local 12 reporter Rich Jaffe now lives in the path of the hurricane in Florida.

When he spoke to Bob Herzog and Sheila Gray on Good Morning Cincinnati, he said he was still about three hours away from seeing the "serious stuff" where he lives on Powell Lake.

Wednesday morning, the winds weren't too bad but his dock was already a foot underwater.

Jaffe said people in the area believe this could be the worst hurricane anyone has ever seen there.
